Creighton University Journal of Medical Sciences (CUJMS) is an open-access journal biannually publishing a broad array of biomedical research articles authored by Creighton University health sciences students with their faculty mentors and collaborators. The journal’s peer-review and editorial processes are operated by medical students with faculty mentorship. The journal is open to submissions from health sciences students and will consider research articles in the areas of basic science, clinical science, medical humanities and educational research and scholarship. Jesuit values and mission shall inform the science communicated in the journal, especially evident with the inclusion of medical humanities and educational research. The intent of the journal is to widely distribute and highlight excellent research performed by health sciences students at Creighton University’s Omaha and Phoenix campuses.
